Simple fingerstyle piece of the sad melody, comprising verse [ A ] and chorus [ B ]. In the version of Rod Stewart, each chorus has an instrumental appendix (marked with the red dotted line), which leads back to the verse. If you don’t like this fiddling around, you can just leave that out. And if you don’t like it fingerstyle at all you can just play the melody notes accompanied with some strumming. Chords are indicated, they are all first position.
