Traditional hornpipe tune made popular by the Popeye cartoon. That is really fun to play. Unfortunately yet only available for low G tuning.

Before I wrote this down, I tried Brian Hefferan’s version in the arrangement from UkuleleHunt. Great. Phantastic. …. but unnecessarily complicated. And it is definitely beyond my ambition to spend weeks if not months trying to get this done. („I yam what I yam and tha's all what I yam“ says Popeye). So here is an easy version, even doable after the third beer. Almost throughout this can be played from the chord position. The [ A’ ] part is mainly the same as  [ A ] except for some melody variations in the first four bars.
