Mike Oldfield’s most successful song. Well justified. Though, I believe this would not have peaked the charts without the wonderful performance of Scottish vocalist Maggie Reilly. Just imagine this tune being produced in the same dull way as „Tubular Bells“ (sorry).

Melody Playing (out of the chord positions) will keep you occupied, so there is not much room for fancy stuff around. It is mainly melody and chords on beats 1 and 3. Part B starts off with a fast accentuated down-up-down-up strum on C. This requires some attention to control the open strings and to maintain the overall timing.
