FRÄUEIN HELEN (RAYMOND)

About

Nicely swinging german „Schlager“ from the twenties of last century. Written by Austrian composer Fred Raymond. This arrangement is heavily based on Gerd Kröll’s version published in my fingerstyle bible, „Der Picker“ (unfortunately not on stock anymore).

Original Key

Tuning

Dropped CG (CGD gbe)

Tab Notes

A rarely used tuning that enables one to wander up the fretboard while maintaining the alternating bass pattern. Great for basis for improvisation.
